Luxurious Bangkok Hotel with Large Rooms
Conrad Bangkok Hotel room is one of the largest which help makes the stay comfortable. There is also a good quality Breakfast spread at Conrad Bangkok Hotel Café@2 restaurant that allows you to start your day right. Service was very professional and prompt. Here’s my review of Conrad Bangkok Hotel:
Location
Conrad Bangkok Hotel is located in central Bangkok, near Phloen Chit BTS station. It takes about 45 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi Airport and 35 minutes by car from Don Mueang Airport.
Conrad Bangkok Hotel provides a shuttle service to the nearby Phloen Chit train station that runs in the intervals of 5 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during off peak timings. Journey takes less than 5 minutes. You could also walk on foot to the train station which would take 10 minutes. Else, Taxi or Grab transportation are affordable to bring you around the city.
Check In
Check in was prompt and efficient. Lobby was very quiet and guests are mainly business travellers which creates a tranquil and formal atmosphere at the hotel.
Conrad Bangkok Rooms
I have stayed at the Conrad Bangkok Hotel for a couple of times which has given me the opportunity to review on the different room types.
There are 4 room categories available which range from Deluxe, Premium, Executive and Suites. For Deluxe, Premium and Executive rooms, their floor size are essentially the same, at 41sqm (441 sqft). Differences lie in their furnishing with the Premium and Executive room being newly renovated as well as Executive Lounge access which the Executive room offers.
Review of Conrad Bangkok Deluxe Twin room
Deluxe room is equipped with the older furnishing which have been properly maintained over the years.
Review of Conrad Bangkok Premium/ Executive Twin Room
Premium and Executive rooms have been newly renovated in 2019 and can now support digital key access. Although the bathroom furnishing is the same as the ones in the Deluxe room, the Premium and Executive room are equipped with an additional electronic bidet toilet seat.
Besides the Executive room occupying the higher levels of the hotel, they also come with the Executive Lounge access.
Love the modern contemporary look of the newly renovated rooms.
Review of Conrad Bangkok Suite Room
Suite rooms are the last to be renovated and renovation has not yet started during my last stay at this property. Floor size stands at 71 sqm (764 sqft) and the room comes with the Executive Lounge access as well.
Executive Lounge
Check in is also available at the executive lounge if you have booked a room with the Executive Lounge access or if you are a Hilton Honors Diamond member regardless of room type booked. Access to the lounge is activated by a key card but friendly staffers are on standby should you require any assistance.
The Executive Lounge of the Conrad Bangkok Hotel has been newly renovated with refreshed furniture.
There are additional seating area at the opposite site of the lounge
Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea hours are from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Pastry canapes and scones were served during my visit.
Evening Cocktail
Evening cocktail hours are from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Quite a variety of quality food is served along with alcohol. Different days have different food selection themes.
Chinese food theme: Dim Sum offering of Baked BBQ pork puff, spring roll and turnip cake. Staple and soup for the day are fried rice and Hot & Spicy Soup
Japanese food theme: Takoyaki Balls, Salmon Fish, Tamago Eggs, Yakisoba Noodles

Conrad Bangkok Breakfast is served on the second floor at Café@2. There is a large variety of buffet food offering with attentive staffers to ensure your breakfast needs are all met.

Live Stations: Favourite dish at breakfast is their local Thai Omelette.

The review of Conrad Bangkok Hotel definitely live up to its 5 star reputation with their very formal and prompt service. Enjoyed the Breakfast experience at Conrad Bangkok and given the large rooms at Conrad Bangkok, it makes the stay a comfortable one.
