Location
The Outpost Hotel Sentosa is located in Sentosa island. It takes about 25 minutes by car from Singapore Changi Airport.
Check In
Check in was smooth and efficient. Area is small and could get too crowded with guests checking in.
Welcome drink was served. Sentosa entry pass was also issued for our use.
Build Your Own Minibar
You get to design your own minibar with complimentary selection of 5 snacks. Alcohol selection is chargeable.
Outpost Hotel Sentosa Room Review
The Outpost Hotel Sentosa consists of all Deluxe rooms with 3 different facing available –Sea, Pool and Island view. Furnishings are all new as the hotel only opened its doors in 2019. Review of Outpost Hotel Sentosa room:
Deluxe Room
Twin Bed Island View
All rooms are 24 sqm (258 sqft) in size and feature an open concept design. Toilet also comes with bidet function.
King Bed Pool View
Pool Area
The Outpost Hotel Sentosa has a sky pool and a pool deck. Access is limited to guest whom are 16 years old and above. This is in line with their adults only concept to cater to adults and couples seeking exclusivity.
Outpost Hotel Sentosa guests may also access facilities of neighbouring Village Hotel which is also managed by the same Far East Hospitality group. Village guests however, do not have similar access to Outpost Hotel Sentosa. You can consider using the larger common pool in the premise.
Stepping stones are available to enhance blood circulation.
Gym Area
Gym is relatively large and comes equipped with essential workout machines. Drinkable water is also provided in the gym.
Terrarium Making
Guests were also invited to a terrarium making session during the weekend stay.
Connection to VivoCity
There is also complimentary transport provided to Vivocity that departs every 30 minutes.
Conclusion of Outpost Hotel Sentosa Review
The review of Outpost Hotel Sentosa has showcased their solid hard product given that the hotel is relatively new. Service however is not as polished as the international hotel chain. It is also interesting to note the high proportion of local Singaporeans that are serving at the front desk and around the hotel. Otherwise, definitely a good getaway staycation for couples seeking exclusivity.
