Huge rooms and superb service that live up to their 6 star reputation

Luxurious Singapore Staycaytion Experience

The St Regis Singapore lives up to its 6 star reputation with large room at St Regis Singapore and you can wake up to a luxurious breakfast at St Regis Singapore. Here’s my review of St Regis Singapore:

Location

St Regis Singapore is located along Tanglin road that connects to the Orchard road shopping belt. It takes around 20 minutes by car to/from Singapore Changi Airport.

Check In

Check in at St Regis Singapore was very prompt and efficient. Welcome drink (Iced TWG tea) was served immediately before being ushered to the check in desk.

Due to the Hotel’s low occupancy rate, I received an upgrade to the Caroline Astor Suite as part of my Platinum Elite Marriott Bonvoy benefit. As the Suite was not ready at the time of check in, I was given keys to a Grand Deluxe room to rest in first before moving over to the Suite room when they are ready. This gave me the opportunity to review both St Regis non-suite and suite rooms.

St Regis Singapore Room Review

Grand Deluxe Room

Rooms at the St Regis Singapore are huge with the smallest room size starting from 50 sqm (538 sqft). The Grand Deluxe is 54 sqm (581 sqft) in size. Check out the room review of St Regis Grand Deluxe Room below:

Mini bars are well stocked with food and beverages though the prices do not come cheap.

Bathroom comes with both standing showers and bathtub. They are equipped with 2 basins to cater for both guests to use them at the same time.

Bedroom comes with cushioned seats, table seats as well as a sofa for relaxation.

Butler Service

The room is stocked with TWG tea and Coffex coffee.

St Regis hotel chains are also famous for their Butler service where they cater to your essential needs. If you need any tea or coffee, they can also help to prepare and set them up in your room for your consumption. They also prepare bubble bath service on request.

Caroline Astor Suites

If you think the Grand Deluxe room is big, the Caroline Suite will blow your mind. With 80 sqm (861 sqft) of floor space, the suite features a separate living area, walk in wardrobe and an even bigger bathroom. Check out the room review of St Regis Caroline Astor Suites below:

St Regis Singapore Breakfast Review

Fancy an omelette topped with boston lobster and caviar to start your day? You can have them here at the St Regis Singapore. In addition to their buffet line, there is also a separate chef special menu which you can order from. Check out the St Regis Singapore Breakfast Review:

Happy Hour Session

There are typically no Executive Lounge in the St Regis hotel chain. St Regis Singapore however invites Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite and above members to their Aperitivo hour. Qualified guests get to enjoy a complimentary platter of antipasti and free flow non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages from 5pm to 7pm at the LaBreeza poolside restaurant.

Pool Area

Pool has a 1.2 metre depth. Length is decent to swim laps in.

Gym Area

Gym is relatively large in size. There are also a variety of workout machines to use. Bottled water is provided for use in the gym.

Evening Ritual

St Regis hotels all over the world celebrate the end of day with a champagne sabering session. This features the use of a saber to break the bottle neck of the champagne (instead of the usual “popping”). Champagne is then served to participating guests. Timing of this ritual is at 6.15pm daily, so do pop by for a glass of champagne which is on the house.

The hotel is also decorated with many exquisite paintings and sculptures. There are daily art tours that are organised by the hotel to take you through their history and collection.

Conclusion of St Regis Singapore Review

St Regis Singapore Review definitely screams luxury with excellent hard product that has been well maintained over the years. Really enjoyed the premium dishes served at the St Regis Singapore Breakfast, service at the hotel was superb and overall definitely live up to its 6 stars reputation.
